In short: Use Sway to discover dance events and venues. Be decent to other people. We do our best to keep it running, but we can't promise perfection.

Using Sway

You need an account to use most of Sway. Keep your login details safe — what happens under your account is your responsibility. You must be at least 13 (or the minimum age where you live).

Be a good person

Don't use Sway to harass others, post false or harmful venue/event info, spam, break the law, or try to hack or overload the app. We can suspend accounts that do.

Venue and event info

A lot of listings start from public data (like Google Places) and from other users, so details can be wrong or out of date. Check with the venue before you show up. If you claim or add a venue, make sure the info is accurate and you have the right to post it.

Your content

Anything you add — photos, venue details, your profile — stays yours. By posting it, you let us show it in the app. Don't post things you don't have the rights to.

Things we can't promise

Sway is provided "as is." We work to keep it reliable, but we can't guarantee it's always available, accurate, or error-free. We're not responsible for what happens at events or venues you find through the app — always use your own judgment.

Ending things

You can delete your account anytime in Profile → Delete Account. We can suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we change something important, we'll let you know in the app. Using Sway after a change means you accept the new terms.
